Birth Plans

It is essential to start discussing your needs and wishes for your baby's birth with your health care provider. Discussing topics close to your heart and planning the way you would like to give birth are your right as a pregnant mother and as a patient. Ask about hospital policies, birthing center policies or what you need at home to prepare for the birth. Discussing these things with your health care provider offers you more control in the whole labor and delivery decision process.

If you would like to do an interactive birth plan, here is a good one you can adjust to your wants and needs, print it off and discuss it with your health care provider.
